Halloween is celebrated in many parts of the world. It's probably associated with the Celtic Samhain ritual. It was believed that on the night of October 31 / November 1 the world of the living and the world of the dead got mixed together somehow. In England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales and the south of France it's a way of saying goodbye to summer and greeting winter. That's why today we'll be dressing up in costumes of zombies, monsters and witches.  For me, this change is magic, contemplative and happy - so I welcome the opportunity to observe all of the shop exhibitions, costumes, etc. It's a kind of modern ritual that everyone celebrates in their own way. Halloween obchodzone jest w wielu zakątkach świata. Wiąże się prawdopodobnie z celtyckim obrzędem Samhain. Wierzono, że właśnie tej nocy z 31 października na 1 listopada zaciera się granica między światem żywych a zmarłych. W Anglii, Irlandii, Szkocji, Walii czy południowej Francji w ten sposób żegnano lato i witano zimę. Stąd dzisiejsze przebieranie się w kostiumy umarlaków, potworów czy wiedźm. Dla mnie ten przełom jest magiczny, refleksyjny i radosny - dlatego chętnie obserwuję wszystkie wystawy sklepów, przebierańców, itd. To taki rodzaj współczesnego rytuału, który każdy obchodzi na swój sposób. Jesteście już gotowi na świętowanie? ;)
